Nellie Mullikin Obituary

Nellie J. Mullikin Charleston - Nellie J. Marlow Mullikin, 83, of Charleston, SC, born November 13, 1938 in Campbell County, TN, passed away on Friday, March 4, 2022. She was married to the late Andrew F. Mullikin, Jr. for 50 years, who predeceased her in October 2020. Along with her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, Enoch Marlow and Retha Robbins, and great-grandsons, Jackson and Chance Jones. She attended Jacksboro High School in Jacksboro, TN and was in the school Glee Club. Nellie retired as a beautician after 35 years of dedicated service to her clients, whom she truly loved. Mrs. Mullikin is survived by her brothers; Ira and his wife, Elizabeth Marlow, of Caryville, TN, and Jerry and his wife, Cherryl Marlow of Meridian, MS; her sister, Darlene and her husband, Roy Estes, of Santan Valley, AZ; her son, Allen and his wife, Sidney Dale, of Hurricane, WV; and her daughter Sherry and her husband, Tracy Power, of Summerville, SC; her grandchildren, Ashley and her husband Cliff Jones, of Cross Lanes, WV, Ethan Dale, of Piedmont, SC, Lauren and her husband, Bryan Downer, and Kyle and his wife, Michelle Power, of Ladson, SC; great-grandchildren, Charlee Jones, Allyson Downer, Keegan Downer, Levi Power, and Noah Power. Her Funeral Service will be held Monday, March 7, 2022 in the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., West Ashley Chapel, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway, at 1:00 pm. Burial will immediately follow in the Carolina Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service beginning at 11:00 am. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc.
