NELL SHEPPARD Obituary

Nell Sheppard BROOKLYN, NY - Nell Douglas Sheppard, 93, of Brooklyn, New York, passed away peacefully on July 17, 2025. Born on May 21, 1933, in Charleston, South Carolina, Nell was the beloved daughter of the late Nellie and William Douglas. The youngest of eight children, she attended Archer Elementary School and graduated from Burke High School. Nell was a loving wife, devoted mother, and cherished grandmother and great-grandmother. Her greatest joy in life was her family, and she will be remembered for the love, warmth, and strength she shared with them. She is survived by her sister, Miriam Ellen Simmons; her children, Sharon and Darryle; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; as well as cousins and dear friends. Arrangements are entrusted to Caribe Funeral Home, Brooklyn, New York.
