Ned Haynie Obituary

Edward "Ned" T. Haynie, III, went to be with the Lord June 15, 2025. Ned was born 7-17-1952 in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of Edward T Haynie Jr & Francis Sutler Haynie. Ned served in the Navy as a CB for 28 years and he retired in 1973. Then he also worked for G&P Trucking Company for 32 years and he also retired from there. Ned enjoyed fishing, camping, spending time with his friends, and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He also enjoyed traveling and helping people. Ned will be greatly missed. He liked to laugh. He enjoyed going to church and being with his church family. Ned is survived by his wife, Debra D Haynie; three stepchildren Justin Moorehead/Tx, Amy L Coryea (Anthony) NJ, Charles L Moorehead (Amber) Delaware; his uncle and aunt, Larry and Patsy Sutler; 16 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; and a host of cousins. He was proceeded in death by his parents, Edward and Francis Haynie and also his brother George Haynie. A graveside memorial service will be held 10:00 AM, Wednesday morning, July 16, 2025, in the McClellanville Methodist Church Cemetery, Old Cemetery Rd., McClellanville, SC. Interment will follow, according to Dial-Murray Funeral Home, Moncks Corner.
