Neal King PELZER, SC - Robert Neal "Monkey Man" King, 55, husband of Patricia Bearden King, died Saturday, August 23, 2014. Born in Charleston, he was a son of the late Hugh Brock King. In addition to his wife, he is survived by mother, Betty Joyce Timms Cleveland of Williamston; step-mother, JoAnn Stevens Williams of Mt. Pleasant; children, Nicole King of Pelzer, Stephanie Hawthorne of Piedmont, Nicholaus Roberts of Williamston, Amanda Armes of Pelzer, Stacey Phillips of Craytonville, SC, Daniel Vaughn of Belton; sisters, Donna King Williams of Scott Air Force Base, IL, Alayne King Simmons of Belton, Debbie Trotter Gentry of Williamston, Lea Trotter Wilkes of Newberry, and Janet King Beckett of Johns Island, SC; brother, Steven Prescott of Awendaw, SC; and nine grandchildren. Funeral service will be held 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, August 26 at Gray Mortuary Chapel with visitation from 4-5:30 p.m. The family is at the home, 405 Depot Rd., Pelzer. Neal was precious & always had as special place in my heart ever since he was born-Loved baby sitting him have sweet memories of him & his sister (Donna)didn't get to spend a lot of time with them as they were growing up that hurt my heart-They were both precious to me-will always have that regret-Just know we are praying you as a family he left behind- live for JESUS-He is our only hope a better day is coming for the saved-Read chapter 121 of psalm-
