Naomi "Nikki" Hasselmeyer Brownell Mt. Pleasant - Naomi "Nikki" Hasselmeyer Brownell, 81, of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina, widow of George Godfrey Brownell, entered into eternal rest Friday, March 31, 2017. Her Funeral Service will be held at the graveside on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 in Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens, 1308 Mathis Ferry Road, Mt. Pleasant at 11:00 am. The family will receive friends Monday, April 3, 2017 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road, from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm. Nikki was born August 30, 1935 in Charleston, South Carolina, daughter of the late Henry Otto Hasselmeyer and Naomi Knoblauch Hasselmeyer. She was a retired registered nurse and a graduate of St. Francis School of Nursing. She is survived by her daughters, Christine Marie Brownell, Naomi "Kit" Katharina Brownell, and Julie Ann Brownell, all of Mt. Pleasant, SC; and her brothers, Ragnar "Sonny" Johnson of Texas, and Frederick "Fred" Johnson of Virginia. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Charleston, 4975 LaCross Road, Suite 200, North Charleston, SC 29406, or Bishop England High School, Development Office, 363 Seven Farms Drive, Daniel Island, SC 29492. Dear Christine, Kit, and Julie,
My thoughts and prayers are with you. I was so shocked and saddened to hear of your dear Mother's passing. I lived Aunt Nikki so much. She was always so kind,and loving to all. I have the best memories of her. She was beautiful, fun, smart, and she gave me some of greatestrogen advice. I am so sorry I couldn't be there with you. I love you, Cousin Gayle

To the Brownell girls, you have my deepest condolences. I went through Moultrie High School with your mom. She was a beautiful girl then and a beautiful person as she was all her life. Tommie and I always looked forward to seeing her at Ladies Day at Charliewoods. May God bless you all.
