Aunt Nancy was my mother's younger sister. She was always a huge part of my life as a child and when I had three daughters of my own. One time, at my 4 year old daughter's birthday party, we had the Hokus Pokus magician/clown entertain the children. Who knew that most of the children at the party were afraid of clowns? Aunt Nancy knew exactly what to do. She just smiled and hurried those children into another room and kept them occupied until the clown left. She was always fun and loving. Much love and sympathy to you, Dusty.

Nancy was the person I´ve known All my life. When she was born ( my Mom was her God Mother) my Mom said she was the best baby and wanted one like her. A year later Hell was born ( me)! We were raised together and for that I appreciate our lives .
She was the best and I will miss having her in my life as will all who knew . Her Son , Dusty was the light of her life and other than her husband Robert, gave her the most joy. Her Spirit is with Robert now.
Those of us left are missing her already.
Dusty we love you!!

My sister, Carole Bantz Taylor, and I, Krista Bantz Sprague, are so sorry to hear of Nancy's passing. We first met the Edge family when we lived across the street from them on Edge St. in N. Charleston. Our mother Ruth & Gladys Edge were best friends and Carole & Nancy were the same age so they became best friends at an early age and have remained friends throughout their lives. Nancy will be sorely missed. Our sympathy to Dusty & Andrea & the rest of the family. Love & prayers, Carole Taylor and Krista Sprague

Nancy has been a supportive caring friend at a time when I was going through a loss and a big change in my life. I met DustyGeorge Grooms, and his sister , sweet Mandy, and brother Jason and their parents. , Darrel and Darrel jr and Andrea Weathers. These people were like family and I felt welcome whenever we got together. Nancy has been a friend for over 30 yrs. I want to express my deepest sympathy to everyone , especially Dusty. I am here as a friend and will always care about your wellbeing. May this departure as it brings change, may it be positive and may you remember Nancy's laughter and smile. May you comfort come swiftly and may you know it comes from christ himself. Nancy was educated and entertaining and I know she would love to be with Robert ,her husband , who was a loss to her many years ago. Nancy quietly moved forward with the help of her neighbor children, one who loved to have tea parties with. She devoted the rest of her life to loving her son, George (Dusty) Grooms. I know she will be missed by those who knew her best. Peace to you and much affection . Mary and Joe Thompson
