Nancy Gillette Obituary

Diane Nancy Gillette, 71, passed away peacefully in hospice care on Saturday, October 4, 2025, in Thomasville, Georgia. She was a resident of Boston, Georgia, and was previously a resident of Tallahassee, Florida. Diane was a graduate of Rickards High School and retired from the State of Florida.
She is survived by her husband, Wayne Gillette; son, Nathan Mauterer; grandchildren: Brooke Farr and Ethan Mauterer; and siblings: Mike Henderson, Gloria Walker, Gail Farr, Margaret Pittman, and Mark Henderson. She is also survived by her stepchildren: Tommy, Amy, David, Laura; many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends; and her very special friend, Patsy Kinsey, of Wakulla, Florida. Diane was predeceased by her loving parents: John T. and Virginia Anne Henderson; son, Neil Mauterer; and brother, Matt Henderson.
She was loved by all her friends and family and will be sorely missed but is now at peace in the arms of the Lord. The family wishes to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff at Archbold Hospital and Hospice for their care and support.
A graveside service, provided by Beggs Funeral Home, will be held at Mount Pleasant Cemetery (6412 Blue Star Memorial Hwy, Chattahoochee, FL 32324) on Thursday, October 9, 2025 at 2:00 p.m.
