Nancy Burrows Obituary

Hi Ed and Linda, I hope this note finds your hearts happy. Nancy had a happy heart and would want joy to heal you. And if not, it's a wish I have for you. She was a healing spirit and absolute joy to me and so many others. When she was in England, she gave me some stones from an English cemetery and pictures from her explorations of them. She saw beauty everywhere. So sweet, uplifting, thoughtful, and, oh that laugh! I'd love to hear that laugh! Sending you both joy and peace. Love, Catherine

I was so sorry to learn of Nancy's passing. I knew her years ago when she worked as the receptionist in a very busy clinic at MUSC. She always had a smile on her face, and had a knack for making people comfortable. It's been 20 years or so since I have worked with her, but the memory of her up-beat personality is clear as yesterday.

Offering my deepest sympathy to Nancy's family and friends. I worked with Nancy over 20 years ago at MUSC but she left an indelible impression on me as she was truly one of the warmest, kindest, and nicest people I've ever had the good fortune to meet, let alone work with. I wish I'd known she'd been working at the JCC, which is how I found out she passed. May her memory be a blessing to all who knew and loved her.

Nancy was a joy to know for over forty years. Her wit, charm, and grace will never be forgotten by everyone who knew her. She brought an ambiance of delight and happiness everywhere she went. Nancy will be in the memories of those who knew her forever.

I am so sad to hear about Nancy. I loved and respected her and enjoyed her company so much. Nancy always had a smile and was so talented. Everyone will truly miss her and Ed my heart and feelings are with you.

Very sorry to learn of Nancy's passing. While I havent' seen her in quite a while, I remember her well from her days woking with me at MUSC. Always so pleasant and cheerful. I know your family is mourning her. My condolences.

Nancy was my dear friend and neighbor for many years. Sprightly and imaginative, Nancy held a special place in the hearts of all her neighbors, as she knew about the cares, illnesses and difficulties all around her and was quick to find ways to help out. She was also quick to surprise friends on their birthdays, write cards from faraway places, and to promote others' projects and businesses. Loyal to the bone, Nancy was just so easy to love, and we shall miss her deeply. Helen and Mike Royal

I too was blessed to be able to call her my friend. I will miss her so much. She was such a treasure. She always looked for treasure everywhere she went. We all know she is resting in the arms of her Saviour, Jesus.

Our hearts are so saddened,but our lives are so full of life long memories, too many to describe. Nancy made our world so bright, made us appreciate all its beauty, and taught us to treasure true friendship. We will miss her terribly. Our very dearest love to Ed and the family.

I'm so glad that I was able to know you and call you a friend. You lived life to the fullest and you always went out of your way to help others. I will miss you so much.
