Nadine Catherine Wilson James Island - Nadine Catherine Wilson, 86, of James Island, SC, widow of Louie D. Wilson, with sadness we announce her passing, Friday, September 2, 2022. Her Funeral Service will be held Saturday, September 10, 2022, in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road, at 11:00 am. Interment to follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at 10:00 am. Nadine was born May 13, 1936, in Shulerville, SC, daughter of the late Marvin Claude Bunch and Loka Haselden Bunch. Nadine was Valedictorian of her Macedonia High School class of 1954. She was employed at the local Western Union office for nearly 30 years. She also had a second career in civil service at SPAWAR. Her hobby was painting ceramic pieces for her family and friends. Nadine is survived by a brother, C. Legrand Bunch of Shulerville, SC; and two sisters, Shirley B. DeHay (Wayne) of Bonneau, SC, and Vivian B. Ripley of Goose Creek, SC. Having had no children, Nadine loved all her nieces and nephews and claimed some of them as her own.
