Myrtice Jenny Obituary

Myrtice M. Jenny RAVENEL, SC - Myrtice M. Jenny, 92, of Ravenel, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, February 6, 2025. The family will receive friends on Monday, February 10, 2025 in the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. West Ashley Chapel from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm. Her Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, February 11, 2025 in Hopewell Baptist Church at 11:00 am, and burial will follow at St. Nicholas Lutheran Church Cemetery at 2:00 pm. Myrtice Moody Jenny, born on October 30, 1932 in Hampton County, South Carolina, was a beacon of warmth, love, and faith. The daughter of the late Charlie H. Moody and Minnie M. Strange, and the beloved widow of Cecil B. Jenny, Myrtice lived a life filled with grace, kindness, and unwavering devotion to God. A woman of deep faith, she never missed an opportunity to share the word of God, offering love and encouragement to everyone she met. As a devoted mother and grandmother, she nurtured her family with boundless care, wisdom, and tenderness. Her love extended not only to her family but to strangers alike. Her warmth, compassion, and selfless spirit left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her. She lived to care for others, and her family hopes that her legacy will be one of love, kindness, and faith that continues to inspire generations to come. She is lovingly survived by her children; Barbara J. Mitchum (Mitch), Charles R. Jenny (Linda), Elizabeth J. Williams (Wayne), and Linda H. Parnell (Bob); and her cherished grandchildren; Nancy (Ray) Miller, Kevin Carter, Kristen Whitworth (Michael), Robert Jenny (Morgan), Charles Williams (Phylis), Erika Stewart (Kevin), Blair Williams (Blakely), and Amanda Hansen (Colton). She was also blessed with 18 great-grandchildren who brought her immense joy; and one great-great-grandson. In addition to her parents and husband, Myrtice was preceded in death by her seven siblings, who welcomed her with open arms into eternal rest. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her memory to Hopewell Baptist Church, located at 6869 Parker's Ferry Road, Adams Run, SC, 29426.

I´m so very sorry to hear about your mama, I´m praying for you and your family Linda, Beth, Barbara and Charles, hold onto the memories of your sweet mama , it had been years since I seen your mama before her coming into NHC several times over the past few years and we getting to do her hair. We had long conversations about the Lord and how much she truly loved each one of her children I know she´s in heaven now with my mama. It´s hard to lose your mama, your first friend but hold fast to the knowing that you will see her again through Christ Jesus in heaven. The days ahead of you will get hard knowing you can´t pick up the phone and call your mama and you will cry. I promise but call to the Lord. He will comfort you when no one else can Jeremiah 33-33 says call to me and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things that you do not know.
Also try to learn Psalms 91. It´s my life verse. It will help you third days that you don´t even know how you got through much love and prayers.
