I had the pleasure of meeting Miss Myra when we worked together at Marshalls. I was sad to learn that she was moving away but the memories of her calling me Honey Child always made me smile & I am glad we stayed in touch. What a wonderful lady- Myra will truly be missed

I met Ms. Myra when I came to Holmes Avenue Baptist around 5 years ago. When I joined the choir, she sat in front of me. We had such a good time together, she was so funny! She made some "off the wall" remarks that were typical of Ms. Myra. But, I loved her and she was so good to me. Her and I loved boiled peanuts and whenever she made some at home she always remembered to bring me a bag of them! When she said she was moving away, I was so sad. But, when she moved back and came to our cantata back in December, it was so great to see her again. And now I look forward to our time when we can see each other again!

Aunt Myra was a wonderful Christian woman who loved her family and church family well! She called me just a week or so before her passing to inquire about how my dad was doing. I know this is hard, but I rejoice with you that Aunt Myra is complete in our Lord Jesus Christ. Love you all! The Pope Family

Cindi, Mark, Scott, grandchildren, and family, you were loved so much by Myra. I was blessed with her friendship for over 40 years. Even though I know she is rejoicing in Heaven with Jesus, I will miss her. So sorry for your loss. The best words to express who Myra Crane was is "she loved". Her God, family, church, friends, and this nation. May God comfort and grant you peace at this time.
