Aunt Barbara,
You always shared the story when I was eleven months, how I followed you around the house, calling you "mom, mom." From that day, I was no longer your nephew but your son.
I am really going to miss our conversations and the laughs we shared, whether we were face to face or on the phone.
Thank you for the knowledge, wisdom, and unconditional love you have given me. I believe God went to his garden and saw you were a beautiful rose, that’s why God chose you among all others.
I am going to miss you. Take your rest. I love you, but God loves you best.

To the family. We thank God for the life of Barbara. We were friendsfor over fifty years. We met at Mount Sinai Hospital in NY. Barbara was adopted in the Browne’s family in Barbados. We became sisters. She attended the family reunions, weddings, funerals and graduations. It give us joy to have her as part of the family we will miss her. Barbara’s voice is now silent, but I can assure you that her words to the family would mostly be to live is Christ and to die is gain may we be comforted with these words
Barbara may you rest in peace and rise in Glory. Your best friend Gloria Browne.

Scott & I send our deepest sympathy to the family of "Ms B", as she was known to us. My fondest memory was Ms B inviting us to the family reunion July 4th, not long after we had moved into our home in 2017 on the property next to hers. We were welcomed into the neighborhood and felt like family. Ms B enjoyed the tomatoes & okra from our garden every year.
I just saw her last week and jokingly told her, "girl...I need to buy you a cheeseburger ". We had a good laugh. She was in good spirits then, and I'm glad I have that memory of her.
She was a kind and decent lady. She will be missed. RIP Ms B.

Sorry to hear of the passing of Mrs. Barbara . She was such an inspiration during my time visiting Moncks Corner Clinic and also seeing her outside of work. She was a sweetheart. Praying for the family that God surrounds you all with his Divine Mercy, Grace and Strength that surpasses all of our earthly understanding.
