I still remember that Sunday morning I was told of your passing. I replayed that message you left me just a few hours before over and over again...... Heart broken,sadden,disbelief...just a few words to describe that very moment. Your spirit still lives on and I will always cherish the last year we spent together just having fun big cuz. We are strong and we understand and we will love you always and forever.

Betty, you've been on my mind forever, and today for some reason I decided to look you up on Facebook. Then my heart broke. I see that Monty has passed away on July 25, 2009. I can't say another word, I am heartbroken for you, Kandyce, Brandon and your immediate family, and I am extremely saddened that I didn't know of this. I just cannot comprehend it. I would like to speak with you if you wish to do so.
With very much love and tears of sorrow in my face and in my heart,
Sherry

Dear Seay Family,

As I caught up with reading this morning I was saddened to learn of Monty's passing. Although I had not seen him for several years, I kept him in my heart and prayers. He made a difference in my life in my early years with the Charleston PD. I still remember telling him over and over that he was my mentor and not the other way around. Please know that God is able to heal all and that includes broken hearts........

Dear Seay Family,
There are so many things we don't understand and sometimes ask WHY?
It is during these times that only FAITH can see us through.

Please Remember:
If God brings you to it, He will bring you through it !!
In Happy moments, Praise God
In Difficult moments, Seek God
In Quiet moments, Worship God
In Painful moments, TRUST GOD!!

Be Still

Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.

Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.

If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.

Feel no guilt in laughter, he knows how much you care
Feel no sorrow in a smile that he’s not here to share
You cannot grieve forever, he would not want you to
He’d hope that you can carry on, the way you always do
So talk about the good times and the ways you showed you cared
The days you spent together, all the happiness you shared

A word someone may say
Will suddenly recapture a time, an hour, a day
That brings him back as clearly as though he were still here
And fills you with the feelings that he is always near
For if you keep these moments, you will never be apart
And he will live forever locked safe within your heart

May God be with you in your time of sorrow.

At a time like this, we are at a loss for words to express our condolence to someone who has lost a loved one.
What to say to bring comfort?
Just remember this;
The sorrow of the faithful
is not that of permanent loss,
but the tender sense of sadness
that comes in saying good-bye for now
to someone we love.
May today's sorrow give way
to the peace and comfort
of God's love.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you & your family.
