Monique Piquet Ormond Charleston- Monique Piquet Ormond, 93, of Charleston, South Carolina, widow of Col. Merle Francis Ormond, US Army (Ret.) entered into eternal rest Saturday, December 8, 2018. Her funeral services will be held Friday, March 29, 2019, in Beaufort, SC. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL. Monique was born May 8, 1925, in Fecamp, France, daughter of the late Jean Piquet and Simone Collen Piquet. She is survived by her four daughters, Mary Christine Kjellstrom (Richard) of Port Orange, FL, Maureen Anne Butler (Robert) of Silver Spring, MD, Michaelene O. Sanders (Don) of Mount Pleasant, SC, Martine O. deLoach (Ted) of Charleston, SC; eight grandchildren, Stephanie Matev, Natalie Cannata, Christine Sohl, Elizabeth Butler, Andrew Sanders, Ali Peaslee, Claire Holton, Patrick Sanders, and seven great-grandchildren.
