Monica Wood Obituary

I just found out about the passing of Monica. My deepest condolences. The entire family is in my prayers.

Dear Wood's family,
Just a note to let you all know that I am thinking about you and praying for you. I know it will be difficult to get along without Monica. She was many things to many people. I have often been inspired by Red and Monica and their wonderful relationship with each other. It is hard to say which one had the best sense of humor, except, maybe Woody!! You were all blessed to have such a positive and loving mom too. I am thankful all the Grisillo family have their parents too, Mom at 88, and Pop at 95. Take care of your Dad and each other... and "Cut some fool " as they say !!! Linda Jensen

Your mother was the kindest and most positive person I have ever known. She always made me laugh . I will never forget her and all that she did to help make my childhood the perfect one! Mr. Wood, John and Family,
I have wonderful memories of growng up on Sullivan's Island, spending time with John as we made our own adventures on the island and in its waters. I always loved going to "the Woods" house where everyone was a friend. I secretly cherished the times that John happened to not be at home and I spent time with Mrs. Wood around the kitchen table with a glass of iced tea as she caught me up on the Island gossip and commings and goings of the children...she touched a lot of lives in her time...created memories of a lifetime.
