Mitch was a friend first and foremost. He was a brother fireman, back in Cliffwood NJ. He was funny, he was a positive influence on all the fireman, dedicated and passionate. The Lord called him too soon. Missed when he moved, miss him a little more today. Lord give rest to Your Servant Mitch, where there is no pain, sorrow, and suffering. Prayers and condolences to his family

I meet Mitch the first time 2016 at BRS. I m so sad to hear that he left that world to enter a new better world. He had my highest respect, he was there if I had questions about the EAF and always say to me buddy. Thanks a lot for nice moments and thanks God that he gives me the possibility to meet him. I will never forget you Mitch.

I feel so lucky to have known Mitch. He had an incredible sense of humor and was always the life of the party! I can still hear his tools clanking on his tool belt walking into the Cafeteria at Severcorr/Severstal. His presence was always heard, no matter the surroundings. Rest in peace, my dear friend! Arlene, sending you and your family love and healing prayers!

Mitch Olsen was bigger than life. He brought passion to work like no other. Mitch has probably started up more EAF's than any other person in the USA. He was a dear friend and will be greatly missed.
