Miles P. Robertson, Jr. HARTSVILLE, SC - Funeral services for Mr. Miles Porcher Robertson Jr, 71, who died peacefully on Sunday, April 2, 2017, will be held at 4 o'clock on Thursday, April 6, 2017, in The Chapel of Brown-Pennington-Atkins Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Amercian Cancer Society, PO Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123. Mr. Robertson was born in Charleston, SC, the son of the late Miles Porcher Robertson Sr. and Margie Lowder Robertson. Miles was a loving husband and father, as well as a loyal friend to many. He looked for the best in everyone he met. Miles was a long-time fan of Gamecock Football and NASCAR Racing. In recent years, he rediscovered his love of fishing and loved being on the water; however, he was happiest doing anything, or nothing at all, with his wife and puppies. Most people will remember Miles as a "Great guy." He has been an inspiration to so many by sharing his gallant battle with Cancer. His strength and courage will long be remembered. He is survived by his loving wife, Tracie Parrott Robertson of Hartsville, SC; sons, Anthony M. Doxey III of Columbia, SC, Lawrence M. (Jessica) Robertson of Charleston, SC; grandchildren, Chase A.
