Mildred Polite-Grant Charleston - The relatives and friends of Mother Mildred F. Polite-Grant are invited to attend her Celebration of Life Services at 12:00 NOON, Saturday October 22, 2022 at Mother Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church, 110 Calhoun Street, Charleston, SC. A Wake Service will be held Friday, October 21, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 pm at the church. She will lie-in-state on Saturday from 11:00 AM until the hour of service. Interment - Mother Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church Cemetery, Charleston, SC. Those left to cherish her memory: children, Melvin Polite, Leonard "Jake" Polite, Francina Peoples, Clayton Polite, Merita Fishburne, Anthony Polite (Joyce), Malcolm Polite (Robin), Earl Polite, and Angela Mack; sister, Frances West; 65 grandchildren and 58 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
