I have many fond memories of Rena from my years in pathology at MUSC. She worked closely with retired department chairman Dr. Gordon Hennigar and assisted with many special projects that required research and innovation beyond the routine duties of a histotechnologist. Her skill, her interest in challenging cases, and her kindness to young doctors such as myself were unfailing. I shall always be grateful. Heartfelt condolences to Rena's family and friends at this time of loss and remembrance.
