Michael Peppler Obituary

Dear Peppler Family:
I was with Edmund last night and he told me of Mike's passing.I had no idea. I am deeply shocked and saddened by this news. I have many fond memories of growing up with the Peppler Family.Words just can't describe how I feel. Our thoughts and prayers go out to both families. Cathy & Dusty Poole

Dear Cindy and Family,

We were so saddened to hear the news of Mike's passing. I can never think of him without remembering his constant smile or his "Gawdamighty!" when he would slice his golf ball into the trees. From our high school days, when Mike skillfully patched us up as our basketball trainer, to years later when we would play golf or racquetball together, he always had a quiet confidence that made you want to be around him. Mike was a gentle man; he loved life, and he loved his family.

It was so good to see him at Costco a few months back. He was the same old Mike, with the same smile that he had in 1975. I'm glad that I could call Mike a good friend. I already miss him.

Judy and I will pray very hard for you during this difficult time. We know that God will sustain you.

My fondest memory of Mr. Mike was when we were at Jenny's grandparents' house swimming in their pool many years ago. I did a back flip off the diving board and new in mid air that I was doomed. I saw Mr. Mike jumping in before I even hit the water. By the time I surfaced, he already had his arms around me. Now, God has his arms around him. He will surely be missed.

Cindy I honestly don't know what to say. I am shocked as most of Mike's friends are. He loved you so much and waited forever for you. Let the peaceful thought of the wonderful place God has set for Mike give you comfort in the days to come. Mike is not in pain and he is not suffering. I have known you forever Cindy and I want you to lean on me if you need to. I will be there for you. My sincere prayers are with the entire family. This is a big loss to the community and the Falcon family. I love you and you are not alone. My family sends their sincere sympathy and prayers as well.

Sorry to hear about Mike. We had a lot of fun running the streets in Wando Woods and on the ball field. As we grow and move on in life we seem to lose contact, but we never forget the good times with good friends. Your family will be in my thoughts and prayers through the next days.
