Michael Mullen Obituary

Michael E. "Mike" Mullen CHARLESTON - Michael E. "Mike" Mullen, 56, of James Island, passed away Monday, May 4, 2015, at his home. Mike was born on November 30, 1958, in New York, NY to the late Edward and Ann Mullen. He was a US Navy veteran and was working at the US Postal Service as a mail carrier for over 25 years in downtown Charleston. He was a former resident of Folly Beach until 2006 when he moved to James Island. He is survived by his daughter, Kelly Mullen of Summerville. Mike also leaves behind his close friends Mike and Pam Terelak of James Island in addition to many other close friends and neighbors. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, May 17, 2015, at 4:00 PM at James Island Presbyterian Church, 1632 Fort Johnson Rd., Charleston, SC 29412. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 2-3 PM at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home, James Island Chapel. After the service, a celebration of life reception will be held between the Terelak and Thier homes on James Island.
