Michael Moorcroft Obituary

MOORCROFT, Michael

Michael L. Moorcroft, 63, of Goose Creek, the husband of Eileen Moorcroft, died Friday, December 2, 2005. Born January 3, 1942 in Plattsburgh, New York, he was the son of the late John Moorcroft and Marion Goslow Moorcroft. John proudly served his country and was a veteran of the Vietnam War; he retired as a Chief Machinist Mate from the US Navy. He is survived by his wife, Eileen, as well as their children: Eileen and spouse, Luke Anderson; Thomas and spouse, Sherrie Moorcroft; Mary and spouse, Daniel Thompson; Kelly; Michael; Kathleen and Maureen. His grandchildren include Daniel, Karen, Devon, Tori, Austin, Christian, Kevin, Shania, Ariel, Yazmin, Tahliek, Makayla, Jonathan, Jackson and Desmond. He is also survived by his brother, Carlton and sister-in-law, Valerie Moorcroft. He will be missed. The family will receive friends from 4-6PM on Sunday, December 4that McAlister-Smith Funeral Home, Goose Creek Chapel, 100 S. Goose Creek Blvd., (Hwy 52) Goose Creek. The Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30AM at All Saints Chapel, 2316 Redbank Road, Goose Creek. Cremation will follow. Condolences may be sent via www.mcalister-smith.com.
