Michael James Maynard CYPRESS, IL - Michael James Maynard, 48, of rural Cypress, Illinois, passed away Wednesday, December 9, 2009, at 1:45 a.m., at his home. Born October 21, 1961, in Memphis, TN, he was the son of Asa Maynard and blessed with the love of two mothers, Nancy (Michel) Fountain and Mary Colgan. Michael was formerly married to Michelle Arredondo of Charleston, SC. Survivors include his father, Asa Maynard of Jacksonville, FL; his mother, Nancy (Michel) Fountain of Monticello, GA; his mother, Mary Colgan of Jacksonville, FL; his son, Michael Lavern Maynard of Charleston, SC; two brothers, Timothy Maynard of Jacksonville, FL, and Paul Maynard of Jacksonville, FL; three sisters, Tonya Bridgman of Jacksonville, FL, Catherine Richards of Cypress, IL, and Michelle Stantz of Albany, GA. He also leaves many dear friends and co-workers at Gerald's Tire and Brakes. Michael was a graduate of Forest High School in Jacksonville, FL. He had been employed as an Auto Mechanic at Gerald's Tire and Brakes in Charleston, SC. Michael loved fishing and hunting. Per Michael's wishes there will be no public visitation or funeral service.
