Michael S. Knight Goose Creek - Michael S. Knight, 69, of Goose Creek, SC, entered into eternal rest Friday, January 21, 2022. His memorial service will be held Saturday, January 29, 2022, at 2:00PM at the J. Henry Stuhr Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Rd., North Charleston. Interment will be private. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Northwoods Chapel. Michael was born July 18, 1952 in Charleston, SC, son of the late Paul Knight and Eula Evelyn Holland. He was a heavy equipment operator in the construction industry. He faithfully served his country for four years in the Unites States Army. Michael was an accomplished surfer and earned the East Coast Surfing Championship. He loved to fish, go camping and spending time with his family at family gatherings. He will be sorely missed by those who knew and loved him. He is survived by four brothers, Donald Edwin (Joyce Ann) Knight of Goose Creek, SC, Gerald "Jerry" Knight of Charleston, SC, Charles Rempert (Mary Ann) Knight of Thomaston, GA, and Larry Kenneth (Jennifer) Knight of Bonneau, SC; sister, Patricia "Patsy" (William) Manns of Summerton, SC; three sister-in-laws, Jeanette, Diane and Barbara Ann Knight; nieces, Ashley Knight, Christina Gladding and Madison Knight; nephew, Andrew Knight. He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Paul, Ronald, Thomas and Robert Knight and one sister, Lesley Davis.
