Michael Greene Obituary

Michael Raymond Greene WALTERBORO - Mr. Michael Raynard Greene departed this life on Friday, October 22, 2010. Michael was born in Brooklyn, New York, on July 17, 1960, the son of Jane Greene Singleton and the late Samuel Greene. In 1974, Michael's family moved to Goose Creek, SC. He attended the public schools of Colleton and Berkeley Counties. Prior to his declining health, Michael was employed by various construction companies. At an early age, Michael attended the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Brooklyn, NY, and after moving to South Carolina, in Walterboro. He dedicated his life to serving Jehovah and was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on November 18, 2007. He loved Jehovah and was very diligent in the ministry. Michael was married to Cathy Jo Utsey Greene. To this union, one beautiful daughter was born, Zha'nyah. He was a devoted, loving and caring husband and father. Michael will truly be missed by his mother and father, family, friends, and the Walterboro Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. Funeral services will be Friday, 11 a.m., at Kingdom Hall in Walterboro, SC. Arrangements by MUNGO FUNERAL HOME, 300 Francis Street, Walterboro, SC 29488.
