Michael was my first true friend/shipmate in the Navy. We were stationed on the USS Newport News CA 148 in 71/72 together. He was my supervisor in the bake shop where he taught me how to bake and showed me a little cake decorating. We spent many hours on liberty together in foreign ports. I reconnected with him just in the last two years not realizing that we only lived about 2 miles apart. He was and always will be a man that I could and can call friend but better yet shipmate. Fair winds and following seas, Michal I shall miss you.
