Not sure what to say?

Carol and Family, Daddy had learned of your mother's death and I looked it up to read and remember. It takes a while for news to get up to the mountains from Raleigh after being away all these years. Carol, we certainly spent a lot of time together many years ago and our mothers were never too far away. I am so grateful to have seen your folks a couple of years ago at Western Boulevard when we visited. Love to each of you. Patricia Highfill Tuttle

Richard is a long time friend of mine. I also had the pleasure of coaching both of his sons in baseball. When I made a move to Raleigh to work in the Wake County schools, I needed a place to stay while my wife and I waited for our house to sell. Mr. and Mrs. Parnell took me in to live with them for several months and treated me as one of their own. Their kindness and friendship will never be forgotten.
