Melissa created a beautiful bedroom space for my family few years ago. She was a gifted designer with lots of great ideas and energy. I knew she had been battling cancer, but she was a determined fighter in everything she tackled. I am praying for peace and strength for you all in the days ahead. She will be missed. - Mary Kennedy

I am so so sorry to just have heard about Melissa. Iris and your family are in my prayers. Melissa was a talented lady, with such determination. She was a real warrior, never complaining about her life. I think the world of Melissa and her beautiful mother Iris. They were a good team!. God received a beautiful angel on Monday when Melissa was taken to her Lord.. Love To each of you! Donna

My heart aches for every one of you. Melissa was taken way too soon but know that she lived her best life and made so many more memories with her family than she was first told she would have. She was a warrior in her own way. I am thankful she got to know and spend time with her first three beautiful grandchildren. Our love to each and all.
