McGregor Dennis Obituary

McGregor Dennis, Sr. Bonneau, SC - McGregor "Buster" Tuttle Dennis, Sr., of Bonneau, husband of JoAnn Stacey Dennis, passed away Sunday, December 26, 2021. Buster was born November 14, 1940, in Berkeley County, SC, son of Oscar Mitchell Dennis, Sr. and Hattie Wilson Dennis. A loving and dedicated husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, and long-time member of First Baptist Church of Bonneau, where he played a very active role in the ministry of the church. Mr. Dennis served his country in the US Army, and later went on to serve Berkeley County as Magistrate for 40 plus years. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing and photography. Buster will be sadly missed by his family, friends and community. Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons- Mike Dennis and his wife, Amy of Moncks Corner; Joe Dennis and his wife, Kristy of Summerville; one daughter- Elizabeth Black and her husband, Jesse of Bonneau; one brother- Oscar "Mitchell" Dennis, Jr. of Bonneau; six grandchildren- Cassie Butler, Joshua Dennis, Caleb Dennis, Joseph Dennis, Samantha Schumann and Stacey Black; one great-grandchild- Liam Butler. His graveside service will be held at Bonneau Baptist Church Cemetery in Bonneau, Wednesday morning, December 29, 2021, at 11 o'clock. Directed by RUSSELL FUNERAL CHAPEL of Moncks Corner.
