McGinniss Muckenfuss RIDGEVILLE, SC - McGinniss "Cherokee" Muckenfuss, Sr., 69, of Ridgeville, SC, died at his home Tuesday, January 17, 2023. Family and friends are invited to visit on Sunday, January 22, 2023 from 12 noon to 1 pm at Givhans Pentecostal Holiness Church, 216 Eagle Dr., Ridgeville, SC 29472. Funeral Services will be at 1pm and will be officiated by his brother, Ted Muckelvaney. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. McGinniss Muckenfuss, Sr. was born in Ridgeville, the son of Tuppie Leon and Dorothy Muckenfuss. He attended Four Holes Elementary. McGinniss was a truck driver for 55 years and a Heavy Equipment Operator. He was also the community mechanic. He was a child of God, who loved going to church. He is survived by: children, Marie Ann Muckenfuss (Mario), McGinniss Muckenfuss, Jr. (Rosie), Donna Deloris Muckenfuss (Keith), Edward Blas Muckenfuss (Jennifer), Spencer Alford Muckenfuss, and Sarina Mallory Muckenfuss; twelve grandchildren, Alma, Michael, Nicholas, Xana, A.J., McGinniss III, Austin, Joshua, Mia, Tyler, Megan, and Lillian. He has eleven great-grandchildren, Kimberly, Abigail, Nicholas, Noah, Juele, Mariah, Alexis, Starlynn, Caesarea, Chenoa, and Lay`Lani; silblings, Stines Muckenfuss (Deloris), Olson Muckenfuss (Edith), Jimmy Muckenfuss (Shelia), Annette Boren (Billy), Barry Muckenfuss (Lisa), Glenn Muckelvaney (Julie), Timmy Muckelvaney (Tenney) , and Valeria Etheredge (Joe). He is predeceased by his wife, Donna; two sisters, Margaret Inez Boren and Lavern Boochie Creel; three brothers, Leon Muckenfuss, Tony Wilder, and Leon Chubby Muckenfuss; and two great- grandchildren, Jayon and Charla.
