Maxine Hillegonds Obituary

Mrs. Hillegonds passed away peacefully at Lowcountry Hospice House on Wednesday, July 23, 2025. She is preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Hillegonds; her parents, Maxie Ford Quick and Jane Gaskins Quick; and her sister, Pamela Quick. She is survived by her brother, Rodney Quick of Mt. Pleasant, SC; her daughter, Amanda Thompson Holliday (James) of Charleston, SC; her son, George Kenneth Thompson Jr.; three granddaughters, Talia Holliday, Kayden Thompson, and Kaetheleen Thompson; and by her nieces, Heather Quick Askins and Lauren Bauer.

Maxine was a member of our St. Paul´s Bible study group before she moved. I loved her sense of humor! My sympathy to the family.
