We extend heartfelt sympathy to Jackie and all the family on the loss of Max. We were fortunate to live in four different homes he built and valued his craft as well as his friendship. He was a good friend to us. We have great memories of his music and happy days at Folly Beach.
God be with you all.

Uncle Max always made sure Jocelyn and I spent as much time together as possible when we visited SC from Florida. He kept us entertained with singing Elvis songs or taking us out to dinner, movies, etc. I had a blast when I stayed with them. Uncle Max was a very caring man, as he showed me on many occassions. I will miss him. Aunt Jackie, Jocelyn, and Scott, I love you and will be praying for comfort for all of you.

I had the privilege of knowing Max and calling him a friend for 25 years. He was a kind and selfless man who shared my love of Elvis music and baseball. My prayers are with Jackie, Jocelyn and Scott. I will miss him.

I will always remember Max as the man who taught me how to dance the Shag. He pulled me out into the living room and started moving and I had no choice but to follow! At the time I was a teenager and thought he was the most handsome man I'd ever seen. Many, many good memories flooded over me when I heard the news of Max's passing. I'm so sorry, Jackie, please know I'm thinking of you during this difficult time.

i grew up with the Crosby family in the 1950's and 1960's off Cosgrove Avenue. We were young children and i remember Max as a very kind young person who everyone liked. he had a great sense of humor. i am sure over the years he still had a kindness about him and will be greatly missed by family and friends. i wish to extend my condolences to his wife, children and siblings. Nancy and i were school friends and i know she will greatly miss him too. May God Wrap His Arms around the family with the loss of Wayne.
