Dear kahlmus family,
I wanted to tell you how much I respected Mr. Kahlmus. He was always very good to me. I spoke with him and Mrs. Kahlmus last Thursday while I was visiting a good friend for lunch at Northwood Country Club. I'm attending an accounting conference this week (out of state) and was shocked to learn of Mr. Kalhmus's passing.

I grew up with Maurice who is my age. We both attended Marion Park Elementary School. Maurice, I lost my Dad in 2005 and miss him each day, and I'll pray for you.

Most of my professional career has been as an accounting professor at MSU Meridian. I feel a deep gratitude to the Kahlmus family for its support of MSU over the years.

I will never forget Mr. Kahlmus. He made a very positive impact on many lives and mine was one of them. May the LORD care for you each step of the way.

Sincerely,
Paul Allen and family
