Mattie Pearl Brown AWENDAW - A mother's love never ends. It lives in the hearts of her children forever. The family of Mattie Brown sadly announces the passing of their beloved mother. She went from labor to reward to be with her Lord on November 28 at the age of 82. She was born in Walker Springs, Alabama on November 20, 1939 to the late Sim and Elizabeth Scott. She was the fifth of fifteen children. Mattie was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Brown, Sr. of 58 years of marriage, and four of her brothers. She is survived by her children, Benjamin Brown, Jr., Angela Nails and Jacqueline Brown; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; six sisters and four brothers and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Family and friends are invited to attend her church services at First See Wee Missionary Baptist Church on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at 11:00 am.
