My heart goes out to each of you. I know how much you loved and cared for Matthew and I feel truly BLESSED to have met and loved him, also. As, we knew the time was near, I was so saddened when I just read this. I will miss him getting so excited over the yellow chair and I have to smile, when I think about how quick I learned what he did and did not like.
May God wrap his arms around each of you today, and the days to come.

At a time like this words cannot express the sorrow and grief of how we truly feel.. especially when a child dies...A child like Matthew...which most of us would consider an angel...but now an angel in heaven..i remember seeing Matthew at our family get togethers...his laughter his smile..enjoying life as best he could.....and struggling with some of his battles..but now he is no longer suffering or in pain...he is free and is in a better place...before i close let me leave you with this poem.....
God saw you getting tired
when a cure was not to be
so he wrapped his arms around you
and whispered "come unto me"
you didnt deserve what you went through
so he gave you rest
Gods garden must be beautiful
he only takes to best
and when he saw you sleeping so peaceful and free from pain
he could not wish you back to suffer again
