Mary C. Young Ladson - Mary C. Young, 89, of Ladson, widow of Edward Thomas Young, passed away Thursday, January 7, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her family. FACIAL COVERINGS AND SOCIAL DISTANCING WILL BE REQURIED. Family and friends are invited to attend Mrs. Young's visitation on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 from 12 to 1 o'clock at James A. Dyal Funeral Home followed by her funeral service at 1 o'clock. Entombment will follow in Plantation Memorial Gardens, 3345 S. Live Oak Drive, Moncks Corner, SC 29461. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association at: alz.org. Mrs. Young was born September 21, 1931 in Lancaster, SC, daughter of the late James E. Hegler and Ruby McManus Hegler. She loved doing anything outdoors and was an avid animal enthusiast. She was a great caregiver for her family and others but, most of all, she loved spending time with her family. She was loved dearly and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Survivors include one son and one daughter: Tony H. Young of Ladson and Deborah Y. Nicholson of Ladson; grandchildren: Tiffany Hills (Denis) of Mt. Pleasant, Jillian Niemira (Chayse) of Ladson, Jason Reeves (Kalena) of Camden and Travis Young (April) of Summerville and seven great-grandchildren.
