Mary Theresa McGrath Sackman N. Charleston - Mary Theresa McGrath Sackman, 86, of North Charleston, South Carolina, widow of Dale R. Sackman entered into eternal rest Friday, September 7, 2018. Services will be held at a later date. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL. Mary was born October 27, 1931, in St. John's, Newfoundland, daughter of the late Patrick McGrath and Annie McGrath. She was a child caregiver at the Charleston Air Force Base. She is survived by two daughters: Patricia A. (Bill) Bendell of Awendaw, SC, and Marlene M. Sackman of North Charleston, SC; son, Dale M. Sackman of North Charleston, SC; brother, Michael McGrath of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia; seven grandchildren: Jennifer, Matthew, Devereaux, Alexa, Emmaline, Jillian and Emily; and eight great-grandchildren. Mary was preceded in death by her daughter, Linda M. Sackman. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105.
