TO THE FAMILY OF MARY LEE STOKES. I CAME INTO THIS FAMILY IN MARCH OF 1985. THREE WEEKS AFTER MY OWN MOTHER HAD PASSED AWAY. AT THAT TIME MRS. MARY WAS THE ONLY MOTHER I HAD. SINCE THEN I HAVE TRIED TO KEEP IN CONTACT WITH HER. LETTING HER KNOW THAT I LOVED HER. (THAT IS IMPORTANT LETTING A PERSON KNOW THAT YOU LOVE THEM WHEN THEY CAN UNDERSTAND AND KNOW FOR THEMSELVES). MY HEART IS HEAVY TODAY. AS I AM SURE THAT YOUR'S IS. LET ME TELL YOU TO LOOK TO THE HILLS FROM WHENCE YOUR HELP COMETH. LET YOUR HELP COME FROM THE LORD WHO MADE THOSE HILL. BE ENCOURAGED TO KNOW THAT WEEPING MY ENDURETH THROUGH THE NIGHT, BUT JOY WILL COME IN THE MORNING. BE REJOICED THAT GOD ALMIGHT ALLOWED YOU THIS TIME WITH YOUR MOTHER. LET THE MEMORIES OF HER LIVE ON. REMEMBERING THE GOOD DAYS AS WELL AS THE BAD DAYS. I AM SURE THE GOOD DAYS WILL OUT WEIGH THE BAD DAYS. I KNOW YOU LOVED HER BUT GOD LOVED HER MORE. SO MUCH THAT HE CAME AND TOOK HER FROM HER LABOR TO HE REWARD. SHE IS NOT SUFFERING ANY MORE. FOR WITH GOD THERE IS NO MORE SUFFERING NO MORE TEARS SO MORE SORROWERS. REMEMBERING THAT GOD THE FATHER HAS A PREPARED PLACE FOR HIS OWN. LOVE YOU GUYS. BARBARA STOKES
