Mary Sauls Obituary

Mary Lillie Sauls HAMPTON, SC - Mrs. Mary (Lillie) Mae Brown Sauls of Hanna St. in Hampton, SC died Friday morning April 26, 2013 at her residence after an extended illness. She was the widow of James Edward Sauls. Born August 22, 1950 in Hampton County she was the daughter of Clarence "Shot" Brown and Rosa Herlene Barnes Brown. She worked as a seamstress at Smoaks Sewing Room and was a member of the Hampton First Baptist Church. Survivors include two sons: Chris Edward Sauls of Walterboro, SC and James "Jeff" Jefferson Sauls and wife Vickie of Allendale, SC, one brother John Edward "Bubba" Brown of Hampton, SC and two sisters: Maggie Herlene Davis and Minnie Bolton both of Hampton, SC, and three grandchildren: Savanna Sauls, Raymond Christopher Sauls, and James Jefferson Sauls, Jr. She was predeceased by one grandchild, Ashton Holland Sauls. Funeral services will be held Monday April 29, 2013 at 10 A.M. in the chapel of Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Sandy Run Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home located at 300 Mulberry St. West; Hampton, SC 29924 (803-943-3352) on Sunday evening from 5-7 P.M. and on Monday morning until the time of the service.
