Mary Prevost Obituary

Mary Elizabeth (Bette) Prevost Charleston - Mary Elizabeth (Bette) Prevost, 76, of Charleston, SC, passed away Saturday, June 17, 2017. Bette was born in Anderson, SC, August 17, 1940 to the late Blair Crayton Prevost and Nell Hogan Prevost. After graduating from St. Andrews Parish High School in 1958, she attended Winthrop College. She worked with Dr. Louis B Jenkins as an administrative assistant and retired from Carriage House Inns. She is survived by three children: Anne Sirey Rumph Sigouin of Atlanta, Ga., Bryan Pittman Rumph of Charleston, SC and Cheryl Blair Rumph Glaze of Charleston, SC; and seven grandchildren; one sister, Dorothy Anne Prevost of Charleston, SC.
