Mary Partyka Obituary

Mary Ann Partyka MT. PLEASANT - Mary Ann Partyka, 89, of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina, wife of Richard A. Partyka, entered into eternal rest Friday, January 27, 2023. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, January 31, 2023 in Christ Our King Catholic Church, 1149 Russell Drive at 12:00 pm. The Rite of Committal will follow in Mt. Pleasant Memorial Gardens, 1380 Mathis Ferry Rd. The family will receive friends Monday, January 30, 2023, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, in J. Henry Stuhr, Inc, Mt. Pleasant Chapel, 1494 Mathis Ferry Rd. Mary Ann was born December 8, 1933 in Chicago, Illinois, daughter of the late John Michael Koiss and the late Sophie Krezel Koiss. She graduated from DePaul University in 1957 and enjoyed her work as a medical technologist. She was devoted to raising her four children. Mary Ann was a member of Christ Our King Catholic Church. She had a special love for quilting and enjoyed many other crafts. Mary Ann will be missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Richard; four children, Richard M. Partyka, Catherine M. Partyka, Mary Elizabeth Partyka and Robert A. Partyka; thirteen grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and two sisters, Thecla Scanlan (John) and Charlotte Pochman.
