Had gotten to know Mary Alma through the UDC and she was a delightful lady. She and Father Parker ate at one of our favorite restaurants and we saw them there often and will certainly miss seeing them. We are sorry about your loss of such a special loved one. Nick and Marie Thompson

To paraphrase or maybe plagiarize-she is actually in God's presence

I did not have the pleasure of knowing Mrs. Parker, but I adore her daughter, Clare, and have enjoyed hearing her remarkable granddaughter, Kitty, perform. I already understood Mrs. Parker was a very fine woman. Then I read her obituary. Wow, oh, wow. What a great lady. I am so very sorry for y'all's painful loss.

I will miss her during those evenings when we just wanted to sit together and chat while attending an occasion in the old Confederate Home Federal Court Room.
