Mary Bradford Nichols HAGERSTOWN, MD - Mrs. Mary Bradford Nichols, 96, formerly of Charleston, SC, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, January 23, 2024. She was the widow of Mr. Robert "BOB" Nichols. She leaves to cherish her memories, her daughters: Jacqueline N. Strawther (Edward) and Rosemary N. Jones (Warner); grandchildren: Simone S. Oliver, Warner M. Jones, III, and Dr. Remy Jones Thompson; great-grandchildren: Warner Jones IV, Mason Jones, Brent Thompson, Jr. and Mia Simone Thompson; sister-in-law: Odessa Bradford; special granddaughter, Kelsey Bradford; and a host of other relatives and friends. The family invites you to attend her Celebration of Life Service on Saturday, February 3, 2024, 12:00 Noon, Morris Brown A.M.E. Church, 13 Morris Street, Charleston, SC. There will be a viewing one hour prior to the service from 11:00 AM - 12:00 Noon. Interment: Private. The public viewing will be held on Friday, February 2, 2024, from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM, where the family will receive friends from 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM, at the Smith-McNeal Funeral Home, 2119 Dorchester Road, North Charleston, SC 29405. She was preceded in death by her parents: William Daly Bradford and Corinne Esther Bradford; and siblings: William, Edward, Clarence, Henrietta, Helen, Harold, Dorothy, Lawrence, and Earl.
