To Paul, Betsy, Sherrill, Sr., Marjorie, Ora, Alicia Felton, John Neff, and Mary’s grandchildren:
Words can never express the loss our loved one Mary, yet I’ll try.
Even though I didn’t see Mary often, she was always glad to see me. She’d greet me with an endearing hug which warmed my heart. I seldom remember her without a smile on her face inviting us to share in her joy. Whenever she entered a room, her happiness would fill the room and change the atmosphere.
It was a delight to spend time with her. Mary would intrigue me with her stories of the Poulnot family’s adventures, most of which would make us laugh. Interesting stories she shared were about her growing up with Papa and Minnie, Dr. Fred and Ora, Sherrill, Sr., Marjorie, and Ora and too-numerous-to mention other Poulnots. Special stories for me were those about my Dad, which would usually begin with something like “Let me tell you about when Julian did…”.
We will all miss Mary yet are assured that she is with Jesus, Papa and Minnie, Dr. Fred and Ora, Paul and all the Poulnot’s who have preceded her to Heaven.
May the Holy Spirit comfort you all during this time of processing Mary’s loss. God bless.
Love,
