Mary Nadol Obituary

NADOL, Mary Mary G. Nadol, 94, widow of Charles L. Nadol of Mt. Pleasant, SC passed away December 3, 2007 in a local nursing home. The relatives and friends of Mary G. Nadol are invited to attend her funeral service at the graveside, Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens on Thursday, December 6, 2007 at eleven o'clock. ARRANGEMENTS BY J. HENRY STUHR, INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL. Mrs. Nadol was born on May 3, 1913 in Hampton, GA, traveling the Southeastern states for Western Union Telegraph Company specializing in receiving and sending Morse Code. It was during her time here in Charleston that she met her husband, Charles L. Nadol, also employed by Western Union. After the birth of her only child, Judy, they moved to Mount Pleasant where she worked as the Secretary/bookkeeper for Moultrie Supply Company and Taylor Oil Company. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Mount Pleasant for sixty years and took an active role in teaching, singing and serving on many church committees. She was the daughter of the late Jessie Marvin Greer and Juliette Leone Payne Greer. Surviving are her daughter, Judy N. Black and her husband, Larry of Mt. Pleasant, SC; three sisters, Frances Mitchell of Hampton, GA, Joanne Thrasher of Norcross, GA and Betty Floyd of Clearmont, GA; three grandchildren, Laura Black Morris and her husband, Ray, Neal Black, Jr. and his wife, Traci and Mary Ellen Williams and her husband, Therrell; six great grandchildren, Logan and Baylor Williams, Parker Black, Chris, Cody, and Courtney Morris. Flowers accepted or memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Mount Pleasant, (Music Department) 681 McCants Drive, Mount Pleasant, SC 29464.
