Mary Elizabeth Cooper Morgan MOUNT PLEASANT - Mary Elizabeth Cooper Morgan, 90, of Mount Pleasant, SC, widow of Henry Vernon "Pete" Morgan, died Friday, December 26, 2014. Her funeral service will be held Tuesday, December 30, 2014, in J. HENRY STUHR INC., DOWNTOWN CHAPEL, 232 Calhoun Street, at 11:00 a.m. Mary was born March 24, 1924 in Baltimore, Maryland, daughter of the late William Lloyd Cooper and the late Bess B. Flack Cooper. She was a loving mother and grandmother, caring deeply about each of her children, her loving husband of sixty-eight years, and her love of Maryland and it's Eastern Shore. She is survived by two sons: David L. "Buddy" Morgan (Lissy) of Charleston, SC and Charles Thomas Morgan of Baltimore, MD; two daughters: Betty Morgan-Jamarik (John) of Houston, TX and Linda M. Culbertson (William) of Dallas, TX; seven grandchilden; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Vernon John Morgan. Memorials may be made to the M.U.S.C.
