Mary McKeehan Obituary

Mary Ruth Hannah McKeehan SUMMERVILLE - Mary Ruth Hannah McKeehan, 91, widow of the late Mac McKeehan, went to be with her Lord on the morning of April 4, 2011. Residence Summerville, SC. The relatives and friends of Mrs. Mary R. McKeehan are invited to attend her funeral services on Thursday, April 7, 2011, at 11 o'clock a.m., at CAROLINA MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, interment will follow at Carolina memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from five until seven o'clock p.m. at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home. Mary was born May 23, 1919, in Tunnel Hill, GA, a daughter of the late William Hannah and Emler Doak Hannah. She loved flowers and gardening and she was a loving grandmother and great grandmother, and had been a member of the Dorchester Waylyn Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughter, Pat Partain and her husband Jim of Watkinsville, GA; a son, Larry McKeehan and his wife Jennifer of Summerville, SC; sisters Billie Westbrook, Ft. Ogelthorpe, GA, and Jenecce Nance and her husband Garland, Ringgold, GA; three grandchildren, Cynthia Moore and her husband Ralph of Watkinsville, GA, Christi Mattison and her husband Guil of Lincolnton, GA, and Matthew McKeehan and his wife Yuko of Tokyo, Japan, and great-grandchildren; Anna Rose Moore, Thomas Mattison, Christa Lynn Moore and James Mattison. Mary was also predeceased by her sisters Alice Norris, Jeanette Hannah and Doris Gilbert, and her brothers Kenneth Hannah, Hubert Hannah and Newell Hannah. Flowers accepted or in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bethany United Church, Care Team Ministries; 118 3rd Street, Summerville, SC 29483 (843-873-1230) or the charity of one's choice.
