Mary McCraw Obituary

McCRAW, Mary The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Charles H. McCraw, Jr. are invited to attend her funeral service at 11:00 AM. Thursday, May 19, 2005, at the James A. McAlister Chapel, 1620 Savannah Hwy. Entombment will be at Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home this Wednesday evening between 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm. The family has asked that memorial contributions be made to the Arthritis Foundation, 7 Woodlawn Green Suite 217-5019 Nations Crossing, Charlotte, NC 28217. Mrs. McCraw was born in Spartanburg County, a daughter of Charles C. Camp and Essie Gossett Camp on Friday, May 2, 1930. She retired after 21 years of faithful service to the Nolan Company as a bookkeeper and was an active member of Pinecrest Baptist Church. Mrs. McCraw will be remembered for her willingness to be the first to help others in need. She enjoyed traveling and adored her five grandchildren and four great grand children. Surviving are her husband and mother of Charleston, a daughter, Charlene Mc. Koger and her husband, Irby, of John's Island; a son, Lt. Charles H. "Chuck" McCraw, III and his wife, Michelle, of Charleston; five grand children, Vicki Golding of Mt. Pleasant, Hope Wall, Kristen Koger, Charles H.
