We miss you so much, Memaw! You were absolutely THE most loving and giving person I've ever encountered. You passed on so many of your wonderful qualities and talents to my mother. I am truly blessed to have such an amazing family!
You lived every day of your life for the ones you loved, your own joy developing from bringing joy to the lives of others. I know that you'll continue to look out for each and every one of us from Heaven... I know that God will provide you with eternal happiness.
Thank you for showing us all the joy of giving and leading by example in displaying unselfishness in all that you did. You have made an impact on so many people's lives.. your body is resting but your memory will continue to live on!
WE LOVE YOU, MEMAW!! :) :)

I am sadden to learn of Mary Lou's passing. To me Mary Lou was a sweet, kind and loving person. One of my earliest memories of visiting Summerville was the evening that Mary Lou and Sammy told Uncle Bill and Aunt Mary that they were getting married...It is hard to believe that so many years have passed since then. Visiting Uncles Russell and Bill was always a treat for me. I enjoyed listening to their "tales". Maybe my love for pre-civil war antiques started at as a child as I sat their "feet".

We just wanted you to know that our thoughts and prayers are with the entire family during this time. Aunt Jane actually notified mom of Aunt Mary Lou's death so I'm sorry we couldn't have been there while you all were going through it. If there is anything we can do, please don't hesitate to call. My number is 864-506-4438.

Love to all.

Memaw,

I don't even know where to begin, I love you so much, and miss you. I wish we had more time, but all the time in the world isn't enough.

I knew this day was going to come, but for some reason I always thought you'd always be here.. on earth.

Sadly I was wrong... I keep telling myself it was just your time to go.

It's so hard, not being able to see your smile anymore.

You did so much for me and my family. I will never forget, you have made such a big impact on my life.

I am so lucky to have so many memories with you. Like spending the night at your house on Christmas eve, and waking up with you Christmas morning, watching 'I Love Lucy' with you all those nights, doing crafts with you, going to the park, you teaching me how to tell time, making my favorite foods, playing for endless hours in your back yard and so so much more.

Thank you so much for spending so much time with me.

I wish so bad that I could go back in time and do more for you, and tell you just how much I love you, and how great you've been. But, no words can describe just how I feel about you.

I wish you could have seen my son grow older, but I understand you were tired. I will tell him stories of you and I.

You're body is gone but your legacy will live on.

Your soul is all around.. the wind that blows, the sun that shines, and the flowers that grow.

One day I will reunite with you, and I will get to hug you again and see your smile.

You've done your job here so wonderfully. You've taught me so much about life. Again, I Thank you!

Bye Memaw

I love you so much
Love always,
Marissa

I will always love, remember, and miss Me-Maw. I have been luckily blessed to have had her be such a wonderful part of my life. I told her near the end how much I hoped to be as good to Autumn as she always was to me. She responded by saying "Just love her no matter what." That is exactly what she did for me. She made it sound easy. I know it couldn't have always been. It is a result of her love that I believe I finally can live more like she always hoped I would. I try not to think about where I'd be now if it weren't for the way she always loved me.

Dear Mom, I will miss you very much.
You passed on really quick I didn't get to say all the things I wanted to say to you, I wasn't able to see you as much as I wanted to being without a car has been really hard. I'm so sorry for that.

But I know you're not alone you are now with Bobby and Daddy. Someday we will all be back together again.

I'll always remember the good ole days we had together all the shopping's and fun times we had together. I tried to do everything for you over the years and you have done a lot for me too I'll never forget that. You will always be in my thoughts and prayers.

You were a great mother to me and a great grandmother to my kids, Marissa, and Luke. Also a great grandmother to my grandchildren 'Lil Manny and Autumn. We'll all miss you terribly...

I love you very much mom!
You will always be a shining bright star in my heart.
Love always,
your daughter.. Beverly

I will miss you mom. No matter how hard I try, I can never ever live up to the standard of motherhood that you showed. You were an honest and hard working woman all of your life and for that I truly appreciate you. I wish I had one more chance to show you how much I truly do care. You may not be here on earth with us, but when I look into the night sky I can see your star shining bright. I will always love you and never forget all the things you have done for me.......Your daughter, Janice
