Dear Marquardt Family,
You do not know me and I unfortunately never met Mary - I only knew of her through my good friends and yours, Alton & Mary Hutto.
As a mother of a daughter and BEHS graduate, I feel a connection and cannot imagine your grief. I was amazed to hear of the strength of Mary's faith, so unusual in one so young. I know that it is only through that faith in Christ that you will find "the peace which passes all understanding" and the strength you need at this time and in the days ahead. Our loved ones are never truly lost and we can look forward to seeing them again. God bless you.

With only your stories to guide us and Mary's beautiful face looking down on us from her picture, we can only imagine how widely and deeply her story and faith have touched the hearts of people far and wide. Surely she is beaming and lovingly held in the arms of her Lord with as much care and gentleness as you have held her on earth. Much Love and Blessings to you
